Leroy Sane has agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich ahead of a summer return to the Bundesliga, though the Bavarians have tabled an offer of just £35m for the Manchester City winger.
The Germany international has been a long term target for Bayern and the Bundesliga champions saw several approaches for the 24-year-old rejected last summer, though have maintained their interest in Sane who is set to enter the final year of his contract at the Etihad.
SportBild are now reporting that personal terms over a five-year deal have been agreed between Bayern and Sane’s representatives, though the small matter of a transfer fee still needs to be agreed before the move can be finalised.

The impact of the coronavirus crisis on the transfer market and Sane’s contract situation have seen Bayern table a low offer for the winger, however, with the club hoping their bid of just £35m may be enough to secure the services of a player who has won two league titles since moving to English football.
Sane has so far rejected the opportunity to extend his contract with the Premier League champions but it remains to be seen whether Man City will accept such a low offer, the Etihad outfit said to have been wanting in excess of €100m for the player last summer.
City’s position is worsened by the club’s reported need to raise funds to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, Pep Guardiola’s side having been banned from European competition for two years over breaches of UEFA’s financial rulings.
