Alexis Sanchez is to have his medical at Manchester United on within the next 24 hours before finally completing a move to Old Trafford.
The Chilean has been subject of intense speculation in recent weeks regarding his future, with just six months remaining on his current deal at the Emirates. However reports this evening claim that Sanchez’s future is about to finally be resolved with the player having traveled to Manchester to complete the necessary medical checks.
It had been thought that Sanchez could have been involved in Arsenal’s fixture against Crystal Palace, but a late night breakthrough in negotiations on Friday evening saw the player given permission to travel to Manchester to conclude the deal.
It has been claimed by something Mirror journalist John Cross that Sanchez is due complete his medical on Saturday evening, although the Daily Mail have claimed that it has been delayed until Sunday, but the general consensus is that it will take place within the next 24 hours.

The article in the Mail claims that clubs medical staff have been given the night off following United’s 1-0 win over Burnley, meaning the medical will take place at the clubs Carrington training ground on Sunday evening, with the player due to arrive between 5pm and 6pm.
Mourinho has given his players two days off ahead of Friday’s FA Cup tie against Yeovil, with the Portuguese having travelled to London to see his family.
Before he left though, he did admit that the signing was ‘so close‘.
