Roma are interested in a deal to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United, with the midfielder linked with an exit in search of regular first-team football.
McTominay made just ten league starts last season after losing his place in the side to summer signing Casemiro and a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation.

Mourinho handed McTominay his Premier League debut at Manchester United and wants to reinforce his midfield with the signing of this 26-year-old. McTominay could link up with former team-mates Chris Smalling and Nemanja Matic at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma are expected to face competition from Brighton who are considering a move for McTominay, as the Seagulls prepare for the exit of Moises Caicedo. Chelsea are pursuing a deal to sign Caicedo, who is valued in excess of ยฃ80m at the Amex Stadium.
Newcastle and West Ham have also been credited with interest in McTominay, with the latter considering replacements for Declan Rice.
