Brendan Rodgers has said he is looking forward to Celtic’s final Europa League game against RB Salzburg in two weeks time.
Celtic had a poor start to their Europa League campaign, but have recovered to put them within touching distance of a spot in the last 32.
They grabbed their third win of their European campaign last night against Group B’s whipping boys Rosenborg.
With Salzburg having already won the group, Celtic are battling the sister club RB Leipzig for second spot, and the Hoops know that a draw will be enough to see them through, although the former Liverpool and Swansea City boss is adamant that he will be going all out to get a win.
“Like always we will go in to win the game; it is very hard to just play for a point and a draw,” He told his post match press conference last night.
“We will be playing against a good side but we want to win the game and use the whole Celtic Park experience and atmosphere to push us over the line.
“It will be a fantastic demonstration of the Celtic support and what that synergy between them and the team is all about.”
