Roberto Mancini is ready to move back to the Premier League and is waiting in the wings to take over the top job at West Ham United.

Reports claim that the Italian, who is currently out of work, is keen to move back to England after a successful spell at Manchester City.

Current West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is coming under increasing pressure at the East London club after a disappointing start to life at the London Stadium. He has also seen his star asset, Dimitri Payet, leave the club and has been left light in the striker’s department.

Mancini, who was spotted in the stands for West Ham’s 4-0 home defeat to Manchester City in midweek, is believed to be ready to take over at the Hammers, should Bilic’s time at the club come to an end.

Mancini guided Manchester City to their first league title in 44 years back in 2012 as well as lifting the FA Cup in 2011. The Italian is currently out of work after being fired by Inter Milan in the summer.
