Everton forward Richarlison starred on his senior Brazil debut last night with the 21-year-old scoring twice as the Selecao cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory over El Salvador.
Not only did the talented attacker bag a brace for Tite’s side, he also won a first-half penalty that Neymar stroked home to give his team the lead.
Speaking to reporters after the game that took place at FedEx Field in Maryland, the £40 million Everton star admitted that he was delighted with his debut.
“I am delighted to get two goals and for the chance that coach Tite gave me,” he said.
“Now, we celebrate and then get back to my club and keep working hard.”
Richarlison is currently serving a three-match ban after being sent off against Bournemouth at the end of August, but is likely to return to the Toffees starting XI for their Premier League fixture against Arsenal in just over a week.
