A new study has revealed which Premier League players have contributed the most towards their club’s points tally so far this season.

Leading the way with 20 points is the brilliant Kevin De Bruyne, who is widely expected to win the player of the year award this season, after putting in a series of world class display’s for runaway league leaders Man City.

Spurs Harry Kane, who has been breaking goal scoring records on an almost weekly basis this season, sits in second place with 17 match defining points to his name.

Despite a serious drop in form in recent months, Chelsea’s £70 million striker Alvaro Morata comes in at third on the list, after he scored a series of match winning goals earlier in the season.

The last two names on the list are Manchester United front man Romelu Lukaku and Man City’s evergreen goal machine Sergio Aguero, who have both racked up 14 points respectively.

This study was performed by Betstars, although Liverpool fans will be somewhat disillusioned by the fact that their Egyptian superstar Mo Salah did not make the top five.
