Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in the final week of his Manchester United career according to reports this afternoon.
The striker has been out of action since Boxing Day after suffering a recurrence of a knee injury that has previously kept him on the sidelines for seven months.
He has recently returned to training, however well respected Man Utd journalist Mark Ogden reporting for ESPN claims that the Swedish striker has now played his final game for the Red Devils and leave the club as early as this week!
The 36-year-old is expected to complete a move to the MLS with LA Galaxy the most likely destination.
The MLS season got underway earlier this month, but the transfer window is still open until the May 1.
Due to his injuries, and the £75 million arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Everton this summer, Ibrahimovic has been limited to just seven appearances this season.
He moved to Old Trafford on a free transfer from PSG in 2016, and scored an impressive 29 goals in his 53 appearances in his debut campaign. He helped the club lift the League Cup, scoring two goals in the final, and the Europa League.
However with just over three months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho has allowed the striker to end his time at the club early in order to enjoy the majority of the season in the USA.
