Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will be sacked if his side loses their next Premier League fixture away to Burnley next Sunday, according to reports.
Mourinho has cut a sullen figure all summer, seemingly falling out with his clubs board over transfer targets and several of his squad’s star players.
Manchester United started their Premier League campaign in decent fashion beating Leicester 2-1 at Old Trafford, but they have since slipped to embarrassing defeats away to Brighton 3-2 and at home to Spurs 3-0.
With the Red Devils seemingly in turmoil both on and off the pitch, the Daily Mail is reporting that players and staff at United expect Mourinho to be sacked if they lose their third game in a row away to Sean Dyche’s Clarets this weekend.
Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is currently the favourite with the Bookies to take over the Old Trafford hot seat from Mourinho.
