Report: Chelsea star Willian desperate to leave Stamford Bridge

Chelsea attacker Willian is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge amid interest in his services from Manchester United and Barcelona.

The Brazil international was in superb form at times last season, but his formed dropped towards the end of the campaign after a reported falling out with then Blues boss Antonio Conte.

Chelsea had been hopeful that the arrival of new coach Maurizio Sarri and his reputation for playing an enjoyable attacking style of football may have convinced the 29-year-old forward to consider staying with the London club, but according to the Sun, Willian has already decided that he wants a new challenge and is determined to leave this summer.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the talented former Shakhtar Donetsk man ever since Jose Mourinho took charge at Old Trafford, and the Portuguese coach would love the chance to work with a player he brought to Chelsea in 2013.

However, La Liga Champions Barcelona are also interested and they have already had a bid in the region of £50 million rebuffed by Chelsea earlier in the transfer window.

Willian is said to be intrigued by the possibility of linking up with his international team-mate, and former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho at the Nou Camp.
