Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal with Celtic for Kieran Tierney, according to reports.
Unai Emery’s side have been pursuing Tierney throughout the summer, having seen their opening offers for the 22-year-old rejected by the Scottish champions.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal’s latest bid is believed to be around £25m for the Scotland international, although they have agreed to pay a larger portion of the fee upfront, are confident a deal will be agreed.

Tierney has been identified as the player to strengthen Arsenal‘s options at left-back, with the club having struggled defensively last season.
The full-back has made over 100 league appearances since breaking into the first-team at Celtic Park, winning four league titles and being named as the PFA Scotland and SWFA Young Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons between 2016 and 2018.
Tierney is likely to be joined at the Emirates by Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, who is close to completing his club-record £72m move to the Emirates.
The duo will be the latest additions as Emery bids to bolster his squad, following the summer signings of Gabriel Martinelli and Dani Ceballos.
Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba has also signed, though the young defender will be loaned back to the French club for the coming season.
