Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has admitted that he received offers from Premier League club’s Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and is prepared to leave the Bernabeu if he is not given more regular first-team football.
The talented attacker starred in Los Blancos 5-3 victory over Real Betis last weekend, scoring a brace. However, according to reports in the Express his relationship with his manager Zinidine Zidane is said to have become strained, and he has already told Real’s President Florentino Perez that he will not hesitate to leave the Spanish giants if his demands for a regular birth in his sides starting XI are not met.
Bayern Munich and Juventus are also said to be interested in signing the 22-year-old, who is widely regarded to be one of the top young attackers in European football.
Real are planning to be very active in the transfer market this summer and Perez has urged the Spain international, whom he signed from Mallorca in 2014, to remain patient and wait until the summer to make a decision on his future.
Whether Asensio will be given more regular first-team football due to the Spanish club off loading some of the famous BBC trio of Bale, Benzema and Cristiano, or he is used as a pawn in their attempts to attract players like Chelsea star Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu remains to be seen.
