Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to offer Liverpool a player plus cash deal for Mohammed Salah according to reports in Spain.
The Egyptian has had a sensational start to his career at Anfield, scoring 13 goals in the opening 16 Premier League games, one more that two time golden boot winner Harry Kane.
Reports recently have suggested that his goalscoring form has attracted the attention of Spanish and European champions, Real Madrid.
New, according to Spanish publication Don Balon, Los Blanco’s are preparing and offer which they hope will tempt Liverpool into agreeing to a move. They are planning to allow Lucas Vasquez move in the opposite direction to try to sweeten the deal, a player Liverpool have previously been linked with.
However, as we saw in the summer, Liverpool are not to be easily pushed into selling players they do not want to. They managed to hold onto Philippe Coutinho, despite he Brazilian handing in a transfer request and Barcelona offering £120m for his services. Whether the inclusion of Vázquez will be enough to tempt Jurgen Klopp to sell this season’s star player is yet to be seen.
Vazquez made an impressive 50 appearances for Real Madrid last season, only managing to find the net on four occasions. However, most of those appearances were from the bench, leaving he youngster frustrated and looking to leave to get more game time.
