Dani Ceballos has told Real Madrid that he has his heart set on a transfer to Liverpool FC this summer, according to reports.
Liverpool have been linked with with the 21-year-old in recent months as they look to replace Philippe Coutinho, who left the club in a £142 million transfer to Barcelona last season.
Liverpool are also expected to lose German international Emre Can, who it has been claimed has signed a pre-contract agreement with Italian Champions Juventus.
Ceballos starred in the Under-21 European Championship last summer, but has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at Real Madrid this season, with the defensive midfielder having only started two La Liga games for Los Blancos so far this term, scoring two goals.
Now, according to The Mirror, the Spaniard is hoping to that a move to Anfield will help to resurrect his career and is said to have told Real that he wants a transfer.
