Real Madrid want to sign Liverpool star Mohammed Salah according to Egypt’s nation coach, Hector Cuper.
The Egyptian winger has been in devastating form this season since his £35m move from AS Roma last summer.
He has scored 14 goals in 15 Premier League appearances, becoming the league’s top scorer, form which has attracted he attentions of the European champions.
Speaking to ON Sport TV in Egypt, Cuper said:
“I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things,”
“To me, he is in an amazing position right now.”
Whether Real Madrid are genuinely interested or not, they are unlikely to be able to tempt Liverpool to sell their star player.
The Reds showed their resilience and reluctance last summer when Real Madrid’s rivals Barcelona made several moves for Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian submitted a transfer request but Liverpool would not be moved.
With Salah less than six months into a five year deal at Anfield, they are unlikely to entertain any interest in the player.
