Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri did not feel his side played baldy despite losing 4-1 away to Arsenal at the Emirates earlier today.
Ranieri felt his side were in with a chance when Cottagers striker Aboubakar Kamara made it 2-1 with 20 minutes left and the home crowd began to get restless.
However, late goals from Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed the win for Arsenal and left Fulham’s Italian coach rueing his sides defensive mistakes.
“If you analyse the first half hour we created two great chances. The home crowd thought, ‘what happened’ and started to boo their players.’’ Ranieri told Sky Sports.
“But then Arsenal scored with their first chance because of our mistake and then we made another mistake and they scored. But we were back at 2-1 but then made more mistakes.
“We then got a little tired and we don’t have the quality of Arsenal. It was not bad our performance.”
