Rangers will welcome Falkirk to Ibrox Stadium on Sunday in a Scottish Premiership clash.

Since taking charge in October, Danny Röhl has guided Rangers to an impressive run of form, with four consecutive wins in the Premiership pushing them up to fifth place. The Light Blues haven’t lost in their last seven league matches, showcasing their steady improvement.

Their latest game saw them draw 1-1 with Sporting Braga in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. They could not manage to hold onto their lead despite the opposition being reduced to ten men. On the domestic front, they achieved a hard-earned 2-1 win against Livingston at Ibrox, thanks to goals from Emmanuel Fernandez and Mohamed Diomande.

Rangers team news

Injuries remain a concern for Rangers. Key defenders John Souttar and Derek Cornelius continue to recover from muscle problems, and Dujon Sterling is sidelined with an Achilles injury. Mikey Moore is also out with a similar muscle issue.

Kieran Dowell and winger Rabbi Matondo are close to returning from foot and knee injuries, respectively, but may be cautious choices for the starting lineup. Max Aarons’ recent injury in the Europa League may lead to Jayden Meghoma getting more playing time at full-back. Up front, Danilo is likely to spearhead the attack, possibly taking the place of Youssef Chermiti, who had a subdued outing in Europe.

Rangers predicted lineup

Possible Rangers starting XI: Butland; Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Meghoma; Raskin, Barron; Gassama, Diomande, Aasgard; Danilo
