Aaron Ramsey will have a medical this weekend ahead of completing a move to Juventus according to reports.

The Wales international is Arsenal‘s longest-serving playing, having moved to the Emirates from Cardiff City as a teenager back in 2008.

To date, he has scored 52 goals in his 252 Premier League appearances and has often been the driving force within the Arsenal midfield. He has also scored the winning goal in two of his three FA Cup triumphs.

However, despite his influence on the Gunners, talks over a new contract were unexpectedly halted earlier this season, when the North London club rescinded their offer of a new deal and informed him that he was free to leave.

With less than six months left on his current deal, the 28-year-old has been free to talk to foreign clubs since January 1st, and according to Sky Sports, he has now reached an agreement to join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.

They claim that he will jet to Italy this weekend to undertake a medical, before signing the necessary pre-contract agreement.

He will see out the remainder of his deal at the Emirates this season, before joining up with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paolo Dybala in the summer.
