Manchester United are expected to listen to loan offers for Amad Diallo this summer with a quartet of English clubs chasing a deal.
Diallo will return to Manchester United this summer after an impressive loan spell at Sunderland last season, one which saw the winger score 13 league goals as the Black Cats reached the Championship play-offs and earned the Ivorian the club’s Young Player of the Season award.
Erik ten Hag is set to run the rule over Diallo during pre-season, but Football Insider are reporting that there is an expectation that the 20-year-old will be allowed to leave on loan again.
Southampton have made initial contract with the Red Devils over a potential loan deal for Diallo, as the Saints look to bounce back from Premier League relegation last season.
Meanwhile, Sunderland ‘would love’ to bring the Ivory Coast international back to club to improve their own chances of promotion, while there is also interest in Diallo from Premier League new boys Sheffield United and Burnley.
Diallo signed for Manchester United from Atalanta in a deal that could reach £37m in January 2021, but has made just nine first-team appearances to date.
He faces a challenge to break into Ten Hag’s plans next season, given competition from Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho for a first-team role.
