Chelsea today confirmed the £57 million signing of highly-rated attacker Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

Despite Chelsea confirming the deal today the 20-year-old American international will remain with Dortmund until the end of the season, before linking up with his new teammates in West London at the end of the season.

Speaking after his transfer became official Pulisic revealed his delight at securing a move to Stamford Bridge and labelled Chelsea as a ‘legendary club.’

“In summer I move on to Chelsea and to a new competition, the English Premier League,” Pulisic told Chelsea’s official website.

“It’s a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and I look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of world-class players.”
