Pulisic admits he’s had no contract with Chelsea boss Sarri

Chelsea’s new signing Christian Pulisic has admitted that he has had no contact with Blues boss Maurizio Sarri since securing his £57 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old American international’s transfer to Chelsea has been the biggest story of the January transfer window so far, with the talented youngster having been loaned back to the Bundesliga side before arriving in West London next summer.

Chelsea manager Sarri recently admitted that he had had little input in the decision to sign Pulisic, stating that he did not even know until the day the transfer was announced that a deal was in place.

Now, Pulisic has revealed that he is yet to speak to his soon to be new manager.

“No, nothing like that,” Pulisic told ESPN when asked if he’d spoken to Sarri.

“Like I said, I’ve been here and playing with Dortmund the whole time and I’ve been focused here, but I’ll be really excited once the time comes.”
