Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis expects his side to show the right attitude when his side face Wigan this weekend.
Boro are currently 4th in the Championship, but will be hoping to keep up momentum against a Wigan side who are 16th.
But Pulis has warned they won’t get anything from the fixture unless their approach is right heading into the game.
”You’ve got to go into every game with the right attitude and approach. We’ll respect Wigan, they’ve had some great results this season.’’ Pulis told his pre-match press conference.
”They’re competitive and well organised.”
”There isn’t a team that isn’t physically strong or well coached. Every team has the tools to win games at this level.”
The Boro boss has bemoaned the loss of his players to international duty this week, but will be hoping this stark warning for his players will help them to respond in the right way against a Wigan side, over whom they will be favourites.
Wigan travel to the Riverside tomorrow for a 3pm kick off.
