PSG host Bayern Munich on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final, in what promises to be a heavyweight European clash.

This will be the 16th Champions League meeting between the two sides, with Bayern holding the upper hand, having won seven of the previous nine encounters. PSG have managed just three wins in their last 11 matches against the German giants.

PSG are in excellent form, winning eight of their last nine matches across all competitions. In the league, they recently recorded back-to-back 3-0 wins over Angers and Nantes, opening up a six-point lead at the top.

PSG team news

PSG have received a major boost ahead of this fixture with Vitinha returning from a heel injury and expected to play a key role in midfield.

Full-backs Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes are also available after recovering from minor knocks, while Desire Doue is fit again, giving PSG plenty of attacking options.

Fabian Ruiz is ready to start as well, having regained fitness. Although he was substituted off at half-time against Angers, his early substitution was a tactical decision rather than due to injury.

The only confirmed absentee is young winger Quentin Ndjantou, who is still out with a thigh injury.
