PSG star drops Manchester United transfer hint

Paris Saint Germain star Thomas Meunier has dropped a huge hint that he would like to join Manchester United.

The Belgian international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as a potential long term replacement for the ageing Antonio Valencia who has been made Manchester United’s captain in the absence of Michael Carrick.

Watford’s Christian Kabasele tweeted his international team mate on Tuesday with a simple tweet saying congratulations. Along with that tweet was a photo of Meunier signing for United on the latest edition on Football Manager.

The Belgian responded with the comment “Olala What a pretty contract”, which many have interpreted as a clear hint that he would be open to a move should United come calling.

Meunier thought that he would have more of a chance to impress this season following the departure of Serge Aurier to Tottenham, but the arrival of Dani Alves from Juventus has restricted the 26-year-old to just 637 minutes of Ligue 1 action.

Despite his limited game time, the Belgian has still managed to score three goals and provide one assist for the French league leaders
