Paris Saint-Germain are planning moves for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and Liverpool winger Luis Diaz as the club target replacements for Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe will leave PSG at the end of the season having agreed a deal to sign for Real Madrid when his contract at the Parc des Princes expires in the summer.
The departure of the club’s record goalscorer is a major blow to the PSG project and the French champions are currently assessing the transfer market for replacements.
PSG are long-term admirers of Rashford with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi having spoken publicly on his desire to sign the England international previously.
Rashford turned down reported interest from abroad to sign a new contract with Manchester United last season but has struggled to recapture the form that saw the 26-year-old score 30 goals in all competitions in 2022/23.
He was dropped for the FA Cup win at Newport in January for a disciplinary breach and has seen his relationship with head coach Erik ten Hag come under scrutiny this season.
The Daily Star have claimed PSG are preparing an £80m bid for Rashford, a figure which could prove tempting for the Red Devils after an underwhelming season that has brought just seven league goals.
Elsewhere, El Pais claim PSG like Liverpool winger Diaz. The Colombian has also been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days, though Liverpool view Diaz as part of the club’s long-term future.
