Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways and back to the top of the table when they host Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday

Here is everything you need to know about this weekend’s Premier League clash.

Form

Liverpool: LWWDD

Just over a week ago, Liverpool had a chance to move seven points clear at the top of the table. However, two draws on the bounce against Leicester and West Ham, combined with Man City‘s wins over Arsenal and Everton have seen them take top spot on goal difference, although they have played a game more.

Jurgen Klopp’s attacking triumvirate of Salah, Mane and Firmino aren’t looking as lethal as they did last season, while their early season defensive solidity has softened slightly, conceding six in their last five games, including three against struggling Crystal Palace.

They are severely missing the attacking impetus of youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, and with Joe Gomez also injured, it makes their decision to allow Nathaniel Clyne to join this weekend’s opponents look like a strange one.

Bournemouth: LLWWL

Bournemouth started the season on fire, but have produced some odd results in recent weeks, losing against Brighton, Everton and Cardiff, while gaining wins against West Ham and Chelsea in their last five outings.

The Cherries are likely to be without top goalscorer Callum Wilson, who has had surgery on a minor knee injury in recent weeks, with the England international having been involved in 17 goals (11 goals, 6 assists) in 24 appearances this season.
