Premier League top six managers ranked by Sky pundits

Over the last five or six Premier League season’s, we have seen what was traditionally accepted as the top four, morph into a top six, to include the oil rich Man City and an ever improving Spurs side.

We’re definitely not complaining, as it has made the race for the first four positions in the table a hugely competitive and entertaining affair.

However, it’s not just the quality of players that we get to see strutting their stuff in the Premier League each week that we look forward to, its also the fact that most of the top-class coaches in Europe seem to have ended up on these shores at the same time.

Sky Sports Soccer Saturday is essential viewing for most UK football fans. The brilliant show, hosted by the unrivalled Jeff Stelling has now asked its leading pundits to rank the the top six managers based on their performance so far this season.

Making their judgement are former Arsenal attacker Paul Merson, former Liverpool defender Phil Thompson, Southampton and Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier, and former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas. Here’s how the managers rated …
