CB – Jamaal Lascelles (Newcastle)
Strong at the back, restricted Man Utd to just a handful of chances.
CB – Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
Despite getting a dogs life from the home supporters, he performed very well on his first return to St Mary’s.
LB – Ben Davies (Tottenham)
Attacked at every opportunity in the North London Derby, grabbing himself an assist for what turned out to be the winning goal thanks to a fine cross.
RM – Mo Salah (Liverpool)
1 goal, 1 assist. Keeping pace with Harry Kane at the top of the scoring charts.
CM – Jonjo Shelvey (Newcastle)
Highly energetic game from the Newcastle man. Got absolutely everywhere putting in tackle after tackle.
CM – Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield)
Influential for the Terriers in their crucial 4-1 win against Bournemouth. Plenty of blocks and tackles, as well as grabbing an assist.
LM – Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Two goals to ease the pressure on Antonio Conte.
ST – Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
A goal and an assist, and an all round fine performance. He really is one of the Premier League’s most underrated players.
ST – Sergio Aguero (Man City)
Simply one of the best. Four goals in 42 second half minutes. Incredible
