Todibo had a short spell at Barcelona earlier in his career before excelling since signing for Nice in 2021 and the 23-year-old earned his first call up to the France squad during March’s Euro 2024 qualifying matches against the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool have all sent scouts to assess Todibo, who could be allowed to leave Nice for a fee of around €45m this summer.

Manchester United are keen to sign a centre-back amid doubts over the futures of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof at Old Trafford, while Liverpool are also searching for defensive recruits following Jurgen Klopp’s change in system.
