An exit from the Premier League is a ‘growing possibility’ for Aaron Ramsdale as the Arsenal goalkeeper prepares to leave the club this summer.
Ramsdale is expected to move on after losing his place as first-choice goalkeeper to David Raya with the England international starting just six times in the Premier League in 2023-24.
The 26-year-old is considering his options as he looks to keep alive his England ambitions, but no club has been prepared to meet Arsenal’s £40m valuation.
Arsenal are understood to be willing to listen to loan approaches for Ramsdale, whose representatives are aware of ‘diminishing opportunities’ according to HITC.
Newcastle and Nottingham Forest had been linked with signing the goalkeeper, but have since reinforced their goalkeeping ranks with alternative options.
The lack of concrete Premier League options means a move abroad is increasing in likelihood for Ramsdale, as he looks to find a regular role following a frustrating campaign at the Emirates.
