Premier League clubs look set to miss out of the signing of Stefan de Vrij according to reports in Italy.
The Dutch defender has been linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool in recent months, all keen to sign him on a free transfer in the summer thanks to his expiring contract at Lazio.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, these clubs look like being disappointed after they report that the defender has agreed a deal to sign for Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old, who featured for the Netherlands against England on Friday, has impressed for the Biancocelesti this season. He has made 27 appearances in the Serie A, scoring four goals.
There has been some chatter in the last week or so that he could also be interesting Barcelona, but it seems as though he will move to Northern Italy in the summer to play for Inter Milan.
