A host of Premier League clubs including Stoke, Everton, Southampton and West Ham are all interested in signing former Watford striker Odion Ighalo, according to reports in the Sentinel.
The 28-year-old striker moved to Vicarage road from Pozzo owned feeder club Granada in 2014, and shot to fame when he bagged 15 goals for The Hornets during his debut campaign in the Premier League in 2015/2016.
The Nigeria international struggled to replicate that form the following season however, and was sold to Chinese Super League outfit Changchun Yatai in January 2016 for £20 million.
Ighalo’s new club sit in seventh position in the table and he has been in decent form netting 15 goals in 27 appearances.
Despite being on a reported £10 million a year in China, Ighalo is said to be eager to return to England for family reasons.
With several clubs searching for a goalscorer with Premier League experience a return to England for the talented frontman seems a real possibility.
