Premier League club makes huge bid for Real Madrid star

An unnamed Premier League club has made a massive £72million bid for one of Real Madrid’s superstars.

According to reports in Spanish publication Marca, one club has made a move for Columbian midfielder James Rodriguez who has slipped down the pecking order under new boss Zinedine Zidane.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with making a move for the midfielder over the course of the summer, however the identity of the bidding club is so far unknown.

Despite him falling down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, Zinedine Zidane recently declared he wanted the midfielder to stay at the club.

I do not want James to leave. He is a Madrid player.
