Premier League clubs are monitoring Ansu Fati’s situation at Barcelona ahead of a potential summer move for the winger.
Fati has started just seven league fixtures for Barcelona this season and is reported to be unhappy with his role under Xavi, leading to speculation that the Spaniard could be sold this summer as the Catalans continue to look at reducing their wage bill.
Barcelona want to keep Fati at the club, but the 20-year-old could push for an exit if his minutes do not increase across the second half of the campaign.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that a host of Premier League clubs are ‘well informed’ on Fati’s situation, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all considering a summer approach.

Fati’s exit could help ease the dire financial situation at Barcelona, who need to slash their wage bill. La Liga chief, Javier Tebas, has demanded that the cash-strapped Catalans reduce their wage bill by €200m (£177m) in an ongoing dispute between the club and Spanish league.
Jordi Alba, Franck Kessie and Ferran Torres are among the other names who have been linked with summer exits as the club look to cut costs.
Fati came through the academy set-up at Barcelona and became the club’s youngest ever goalscorer when netting his first professional goal, aged 16, in 2019. He has since made 89 appearances in all competitions and has scored 25 goals.
