What another superb weekend of Premier League football it has been. From much-needed wins to absolute thrashings. From comfortable wins to devastating defeats, the weekend of top-flight English football has had it all. Here are 10 of the best stats from the latest round of action.

  • Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has already equalled his tally of 10 goal involvements from last season in the opening 11 Premier League games. It took him 28 games to reach the same total during the last campaign.
  • Manchester United have conceded 18 goals in their 11 league games so far. At this stage last season they had conceded just five.

  • Leicester are the only side in the Premier League to score in all 11 games this season.
  • Everton have won four of their past five Premier League games. That’s as many as they managed in their previous 14 in the league.

  • Newcastle‘s win over Watford this weekends was not only their first of the season, but it was also the 50th win under Rafa Benitez’s management (116 games).
  • Burnley have lost four of their last five Premier League games, and have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine of their last 10.

  • Arsenal have scored more second-half goals (19) and recovered more points from losing positions (8) than any other side in the league this season so far.
  • Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 39 Premier League games against promoted sides.

  • Danny Ings goal against Manchester City ended the champions run of 630 minutes without conceding a goal in the Premier League.
  • Chelsea are now unbeaten in their opening 11 Premier League matches of this season – they won the league in the previous two seasons they achieved this (2005/06 and 2014/15).
