Paul Pogba’s brother has revealed his desire to see the Manchester United midfielder seal a mega move to Real Madrid this summer.
The France international’s future has been a constant source of speculation in recent months, with Real Madrid and former club Juventus amongst the clubs linked with an interest in prising the 26-year-old away from Old Trafford.
Pogba raised doubts about his commitment to Manchester United by declaring his interest in a ‘new challenge’ last summer, whilst controversial agent Mino Raiola has continued to fuel speculation of a departure in the media and became embroiled in a much publicised spat with Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this season.
Pogba has endured an injury-hit campaign and has made just eight appearances in all competitions this season, though that has not ended talk of a move away with the player’s brother, Florentin, revealing his ‘want’ to see his sibling complete a high profile move to the Bernabeu.
“At the moment, there’s no talk about it, but I’ve always said that I want my brother to sign for Real Madrid,” Florentin told El Chiringuito.
“It’s not a money problem, because Madrid can put the money. I don’t know how much [Paul] is worth. It’s all politics and football. It started when Ronaldo signed at Madrid for €94m, and after that… [mimics explosion].
“There are youngsters who move for €80-90m that haven’t won a trophy, and remember that when Ronaldo signed for Madrid, he had won trophies with Manchester United.”
