Pogba tells Juventus that he wants to join Manchester United

Another Day. More news and updates on the speculated move of Paul Pogba from Juventus.

Reports in a number of Italian newspapers suggest that Pogba has told Juventus that he wishes to leave the club and to rejoin Manchester United.

The Italian club are keen for Pogba to stay, and whilst the offer of a World Record fee is appealing, they want the Frenchman to declare that he wants to leave, as to ensure they dont face a backlash from the Juventus fans.

It is thought that the Premier League club opened the bidding yesterday with a transfer record equalling £86million (€101million) bid, plus add-ons which totalled around €120million. However the Italian club are believed to have rejected and will hold out for the full €120million in one lump sum.

Pogba is still on holiday in USA, whilst Manchester United have just arrived in China for their pre-season tour.
