Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s relationship with his club’s manager Jose Mourinho has dominated the headlines over the last couple of months.
The France international has been dropped for many of United’s biggest games in recent times after a string of poor performances.
Pogba and Mourinho have seemed to be at odds over were the 25-year-old should play, and also his at times questionable tactical discipline.
Reports even surfaced last week suggesting the pair are barely even on speaking terms anymore. However, Pogba has stated that he has ”no problem,” with his manager and that he is aiming to use this tough period as a chance to grow stronger.
“It’s true [being benched] has never happened to me, but it can strengthen me,”
“You have to go through these periods to make you stronger.
“There is no problem with Mourinho. It’s not me who picks the team. Ask the coach if you want to know why I play less. I respect his choices.” Pogba told Telefoot.
