Pogba labelled ‘Poison’ by former Manchester United attacker

Former Manchester United star Alan Brazil has labelled Paul Pogba as ‘’Poison,’’ and urged his former club to get rid of the France international as soon as possible.

Pogba returned to Old Trafford for a then World Record £89 million in the summer of 2016 from Juventus, having originally left  United as an 18-year-old to move to Turin.

However, the 25-year-old has failed to consistently perform at his best for the Red Devils and his strained relationship with his manager Jose Mourinho has made more headlines than his performances on the pitch for the 20 time League Champions.

Pogba was stripped of the Manchester United vice captaincy yesterday after publicly criticising Mourinho for not playing more attacking football and with the controversial midfielder and his agent Mino Raiola reportedly trying to engineer an Old Trafford exit to Spanish giants Barcelona, Brazil slammed the former Juventus man on his talkSport show earlier today:

“If Fergie was still manager now, Pogba would not be there – not a hope in hell,” He said.

“Fergie would not trust someone with that reputation, even if he is a World Cup winner, he just wouldn’t.

“I think Jose has been patient, but I think his patience has run out now.

“United’s next two games will be interesting – will Pogba sulk in training and just stroll about?

“Or will he roll his sleeves up, get on with it and say: ‘I want to play, I’ll prove everyone wrong, I’m a World Cup winner, it’s not me’?”
