Mino Raiola has discussed a potential return to Juventus for Paul Pogba and has refused to rule out a summer move for the Manchester United midfielder.
The France international is reportedly desperate to leave the club following their struggles in recent seasons, the 26-year-old having been strongly linked with moves to the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus as he seeks to join a club capable of challenging for major honours.
Pogba previously spent four seasons with Juventus, winning four consecutive league titles before returning to Old Trafford in a then world-record deal worth a reported £89m.
Despite winning the League Cup and Europa League during his debut season at the club, Manchester United‘s fortunes have declined in recent seasons and the club currently a huge 38 points adrift of league leaders Liverpool and are facing a difficult challenge to secure Champions League football ahead of next season.
Pogba’s agent, Raiola, has once again fuelled talk of a summer exit for the midfielder, admitting a return to Italian champions Juve could be an option for his client following the conclusion of this summer’s European Championships.
“Italy is like home for Paul. He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen after the Euros,” Raiola told reporters.
“Paul wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Manchester United if they are in a difficult situation.”
Pogba currently remains sidelined after being beset with ankle problems so far this season, making just eight appearances in all competitions and failing to feature since the club’s win over Newcastle on Boxing Day.
