Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has sparked transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Old Trafford, by admitting it would be a pleasure to play with PSG’s Neymar.
The Frenchman has been subject to plenty of criticism in recent weeks after a number of below standard performances for the Red Devils this season, which have seen him relegated to the bench for a number of key games.
Some reports have suggested that despite forking out a world-record fee of £89 million for the midfielder less than two years ago, Jose Mourinho could be willing to sell him this summer as he looks to rebuild his struggling side.
PSG and Real Madrid have both been linked with having an interest in Pogba, who has now admitted that he would like to play with PSG star Neymar at some point in his career.
Speaking to Argentinian television channel TyC Sports, Pogba said: “Yes, Neymar. I like him. He has the definition of happiness on the pitch.
“In Brazil football is everything, it’s life in Brazil. Everyone plays football. I love to see him on the pitch playing, with his technique and his ability. It’s a different style.
“When you say the word Neymar around the world, everyone knows who he is and what he does. Therefore if I could play with him one day it would be a pleasure.”
Neymar himself has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, despite only moving to the French capital in a world-record £198m last summer.
