Mauricio Pochettino has reaffirmed his support for Spurs’ move to their new stadium and would like it to happen as soon as possible.

Spurs have had to push back their move until March after confirming all of their ‘home’ games in February will still have to take place at Wembley.

Pochettino is very enthusiastic about the move and said he cannot wait for it to happen.

“To move to our new stadium will be massive, massive for our fans. I cannot wait to move. I told Daniel [Levy], he always listens and arrives in my office and says ‘do you know what will be good, to move there or not?’. I said 200% we have to move there as soon as.” Pochettino told the press today ahead of his sides clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

If Spurs do manage to meet their new target of having moved to their new stadium by the start of March then there could be a baptism of fire on the cards for the team and fans. Their first home game in March is a north London derby against Arsenal and what better fixture to have as the curtain-raiser in the new state-of-the-art facility.
