Anthony Martial has been urged to quit Manchester United for Arsenal, by Premier League legend Robert Pires.
The Frenchman’s future has been subject to plenty of speculation ever since the arrival of Jose Mourinho as United manager in 2016, with reports suggesting he could be allowed to leave this summer.
The January signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal has seen Martial’s game time become much more restricted than he had become accustomed to at the start of the season, with Gary Neville saying the Chilean’s arrival has had a negative impact.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus and PSG are just some of the big names who are interested in signing the former Monaco wide man, but Arsenal legend Robert Pires has told him to move to the Emirates:
Pires said: “I’m a big fan of Anthony Martial. He’s very fast, he has excellent dribbling skills and he has the potential to score a lot of goals, but I think he has to play more football.
“I don’t know why he isn’t playing more for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho needs to show more confidence in him. I would welcome him at Arsenal.”
