Pep doesn’t have the Hart to stick with Joe

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is set to sensationally drop Joe Hart for the opening game of the Premier League.

According the the Daily Express today, Joe Hart is set to be relegated to the bench with Willy Caballero ready to step in between the sticks for today’s game against Sunderland.

Much has been speculated over Harts future following the arrival of Guardiola, who prefers to have a ‘keeper who is good with his feet and acts as an additional outfield player, or as it has become known, the ‘sweeper keeper’.

City have been linked with making a summer move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, and dropping Joe Hart will only intensify speculation that the England number 1 is no longer first choice at the Etihad.

Everton have been linked with making a move for the former Peterborough goalkeeper, who was heavily criticised at Euro 2016 for TWO blunders he made as England’s campaign ended in disgrace once again.
