West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he is not worried by the fact his side are rock bottom of the Premier League having lost all four of their opening fixtures this season.
Optimism was high amongst the Hammers faithful at the start of this campaign after the East London outfit made Pellegrini one of the highest paid managers in the Premier League and spent around £100 million on new players.
However, despite his sides disastrous start, West Ham’s experienced coach has insisted that he is not overly concerned as he had been through tough periods in his career before.
“It’s not the first time in my career I’ve had bad results. I am not worried about statistics,” he told his pre-match press conference ahead of his sides fixture away to Everton today.
“I am worried about finding a team to play well and win then game.”
After West Ham’s trip to Goodison Park today they will face Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United in three of their next four games, you probably should be worried Manuel.
