West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that club record signing Felipe Anderson is not happy, as he knows he can deliver more to the Hammers cause.
The Brazilian moved to the London Stadium in the summer in a £40million move from Italian side Lazio, but despite making a number of eye-catching performances, he has only managed to score one goal and provide one assist in his ten Premier League appearances to-date.
With West Ham set to face Burnley on Saturday afternoon, Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that the 25-year-old knows that he needs to improve.
“Anderson is not happy because he knows he can do more,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“He has had good moments and bad moments, he knows he must improve and he is trying to do it. I trust him a lot. He can make mistakes but he can give you something different also.”
West Ham are currently sat in 13th place in the league table, level on points with tomorrows opponents after a less than impressive start to the season.
