Pedro: Chelsea are focused on finishing top four after poor patch of form

Pedro insists Chelsea are focusing on finishing in the Premier League’s top four after a difficult run of form.

Maurizio Sarri’s side suffered back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Bournemouth in January before a humbling 6-0 defeat at Manchester City last month, but Sunday’s 2-1 win at Fulham lifted them to within two points of the Champions League places having played a game fewer than the sides above them.

Ahead of the visit of Wolves this weekend, Pedro says the players are all focused on securing a return to European football’s premier tournament.

“We said ‘this is enough’. I spoke during the week about the situation [with my team-mates], but now we’re all focusing on reaching the top four,” Pedro told Sky Sports.

“It’s the most important thing for us until the end, to try to win every game. They’re all finals because it’s so important to get points, try to win every game and if not, it’s going to be so difficult to qualify.”
