Former Everton midfielder Osman labels Leicester performance as ‘worst of season.’

Everton’s poor run of form continued today when they slipped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Leicester City at Goodison Park.

A 58th minute finish from Foxes striker Jamie Vardy means the Toffees have won just once in their last eight Premier League outings.

The Goodison Park fans let Marco Silva’s side know just how unhappy they were with their latest display by greeting the final whistle with a chorus of boos, and former Everton midfielder Leon Osman admitted that it was probably the Toffees worst performance of the season.

‘Boos around Goodison, not only for the result but a really poor performance and Leicester took advantage, who were not at their best themselves. Leicester’s midfield and central defenders were great.’ Osman told BBC 5 Live.

‘You give Vardy a chance he take it. They came with a game plan, defended deep and are going away with all three points.

‘Today was probably Everton’s worst performance of the season.’
