Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak would like to secure a move to Manchester United this summer after growing frustrated in the Spanish capital.

Oblak is widely rated among the best goalkeepers in the world, and is thought to be one of Manchester United‘s prime candidates should David de Gea depart.

The Spaniard is currently embroiled in a contract stand-off, with the United number 1 thought to be wanting parity with the clubs top earners, with Alexis Sanchez currently earning £500,000-a-week. While the Red Devils are understandably keen to keep him, with one year left on his current deal at Old Trafford, there have been reports that they would allow him to leave the club.

PSG are thought to be interested in signing de Gea to replace Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon, who announced his departure from the Parc des Princes earlier this month, with the French Champions being linked with a £60 million move.

However, reports from ESPN suggest that despite their lack of Champions League football next season, Atletico ‘keeper Jan Oblak wants to move to Old Trafford this summer, after growing frustrated with the clubs ambitions, with Antoine Griezmann expected to leave.

Oblak, reportedly grew up as a Manchester United fan, and is claimed to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

He only signed a new deal at the Wanda Metropolitano earlier this season, although that was seen by some as a way for the La Liga runners up to increase his €100 million release clause, which now stands at €120m.
