West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

Noble reveals West Ham is a ‘happy place’ after third successive win

Mark Noble says that West Ham is a ‘happy place’ now as they made it three consecutive league wins today, beating Crystal Palace 3-2 at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are now up to 10th in the Premier League as Manuel Pellegrini and his men seem to be clicking into gear just ahead of the busy winter period.

Noble spoke after the game about how his side had to fight very hard for today’s three points.

“It was a tough game today, Palace were on the back of a loss to Brighton. They score an early goal but we kept playing how we have been, grinding away and got two really good goals and the hardest finish for Hernandez that comes to him quickly,’’ Noble told BBC’s MOTD.

Noble also singled out the performance of wide-man, Robert Snodgrass.

“Snodgrass was fantastic, a great finish, in quick succession and we get a 3-1 lead. We deserved 1-1 at the break, and we deserved to win the game,” said Noble.

West Ham’s captain was delighted with the result but mentioned the need for focus as The Irons travel to Fulham next Saturday.

“We have won three games and scored three goals, controlled the ball and passed it well which is the main thing. This week has been a great week but it’s the Premier League so we want to go again on Saturday against Fulham.

“A lot of people wrote us off but we know the quality we have. This week has been tough but to have three wins is fantastic. Training on Monday will be a happy place.”
